Target Audience: All Pitt faculty, staff, and students that work with nitric acid. Recently hired individuals that work in a lab where nitric acid is stored or used should complete this training prior to handling nitric acid.
Description: This training includes a short video about the hazards of nitric acid. The training module covers the properties of nitric acid, and its proper labeling, handling, storage, and disposal.
