The Radiation Safety Office ensures the protection of University community from ionizing radiation such as X-ray machines, sealed nuclear sources, and radio-labeled chemicals. This is accomplished by training users, monitoring workspaces, and controlling the receipt of disposal or radioactive material and radiation-producing machines.
