Target Audience: All employees working in close proximity to identified friable asbestos containing materials, and who may impact these materials as part of their work.
Description: The training will address asbestos uses and forms, the health effects of asbestos, and typical locations of asbestos-containing building material (ACBM) within the buildings in which they work. They will also be instructed who to call if suspected damaged materials are found.
Training Requirements: Training must be completed within 30 days of hire. Asbestos Awareness training is required annually.
